Jake likes to go out to eat on his birthdays. This year he and his pals found a little out of the way place near downtown Houston. Sammy’s Wild Game Grill is a small restaurant tucked in a side street off Washington and Yale. He and his buddies found that serve strange and/or unusual meats. Kangaroo, Wild Boar and Pheasant are only a few meats on the menu. I was a bit worried, but after tasting my Pheasant sausage dog, with sauerkraut, pickle relish, onions and habenero ketchup, I must admit it was good! Jake had a kangaroo burger and my wife had a bbq pulled wild boar sandwich. Everyone ate what they ordered so I’m assuming everyone was satisfied with their orders.
