Fun in the Sun on a Cool Day!

….. and damn was it cold. Our group got to the Three Palms Motocross Park at 10:00am. Cool with 20 mph winds made it cold as hell. My hands were almost frozen. I almost left early, BUT, I hung in there and got some cools photos. The kids riding were from 4 to 16 or so. The older kids put on a better show during the races, but the little guys and gals did their thing! I wasn’t muddy so most of the dirt flying was dry. I believe these races were part of the Loretta Lynn sponsored series of races.

This place is pretty cool, not only do they have motocross, they have ski-do races and mud runs. It is open during the week and the public is welcome to come in and give it a try. I’m not sure of the price, but the rent you the bike and protective clothing and let you do four laps around the motocross course.
