Our photowalk group had the chance to spend a night in a castle. It is something I’ll remember for a long, long time. We visited Newman’s Bakery in Bellville, Texas on Saturday morning. After a great breakfast, walked around downtown Bellville taking photos of everything. Later in the afternoon we convoyed out to Mike Newman’s private home which happens to be a castle. We spent the evening taking pictures. When the sun went down we tried for some night photography. The moon was bright so we had a rough time getting stars. When the sun came up we tried for some sunrise shots, this worked out great for everyone as we all setup around the castle. The only problem with the weather was a cold front which came with some really gusty winds which made it extremely cool/cold. Mike does offer tours if you call his bakery.
