Houston Fire Museum

Nestled into a quiet neighborhood in downtown Houston sits the oldest fire station in Houston’s long history. An old building with lots of memorabilia from the past inside draws family’s and people of all ages. It has old steam engine trucks, fire wagons that used to be pulled by horses and even a mockup of an engine that kids can pretend they are driving. Uniforms worm by firemen of yesteryear, memories of fallen firefighters and even a wall which many firemen have signed their names. Below are some of the memories I will take away and keep as dear thoughts to remember what these men do for us on a daily basis!
