The path to my new home!

I decided a few months ago it was time to get back into a house for my privacy and sanity. Getting close to the time to retire and I need a backyard and patio where I can relax and let the dog run around. The process has begun!

DAY 1: Saturday 1/25/14

I went out to the area where the house will be built.

My realtor and I met with the representative of the home builder to check out the homes they have. After listening to the company’s advertisement we went to look at some models. We checked out one and it was very nice. She then had another model that had more square footage. We drove over to that model for a walk thru and found it to my liking!

The next step is to sign the loan paperwork. Hopefully this will take place soon. After that it will be what seems like a long wait to get approval!

Day 2: It’s Sunday so no work.

Hard to believe this will be the place I reside in as little as 45 days. It’s not much now, but I’ll be updating the progress of my of my future residence!
